Nikon ZR Underwater Housing | BOOSTED

Our Nikon ZR Boosted Underwater Housing is engineered for the space between surf and dive, and built specifically for the Nikon ZR. The ZR brings Nikon and RED’s Z Cinema platform into a compact full-frame body—internal R3D NE RAW recording up to 6K/60p, 15+ stops of dynamic range, and a body-only weight of 540g.

Surf/Dive Hybrid Design Machined from 6061 billet aluminium and fitted with marine-grade 316 stainless hardware, the housing combines the lightweight handling of a surf housing with the depth capability and material durability of a dive housing. Every surface and control is considered with the same intent: to feel precise in the hand and perform naturally in the water.

Internal Power Architecture The BOOSTED is built around continuous camera power. An integrated V-Lock battery bay, optimized for the FXLion Nano One, delivers power to the Nikon ZR via USB-C from inside the housing, extending runtime well beyond a single charge.

Extended Power Configuration The BOOSTED housing incorporates an integrated V-Lock battery compartment to support extended shooting times. It is optimised for the FXLion Nano One and accommodates batteries of similar dimensions. Power is delivered to the camera via USB-C from the installed V-Lock battery.

The V-Lock battery is not supplied.

M16 Ports

The ZR Boosted features two sealed M16 ports, each closed with a CNC-machined, anodized aluminum threaded cap. These ports accept standard M16 bulkhead accessories—including the Salty USB-C bulkhead for external power delivery and data transfer, as well as third-party options such as leak detectors and external monitor connections.

Housing Skid System

A dedicated skid system for ZR Housings that adds a protective base layer and creates a stable platform when setting the rig down between shots. CNC-machined from anodized aluminum, the skids can also be mounted with weights to fine-tune buoyancy in the water.

Top Cheese Plate

Adds a row of standard ¼” mounting points to the top of the housing, creating a secure platform for lights, monitors, and other accessories. Precision-machined from anodized aluminum.
