RED KOMODO 6K & KOMODO-X Underwater Housing

Housing Overview

Purpose-built for pro filmmakers, the RED KOMODO-X underwater housing delivers full physical camera control in a rugged, CNC-machined aluminium shell. Compatible with both compact and monitor back configurations, it supports the RED KOMODO-X with a Nano V-mount battery and optional Portkeys BM5 IV monitor.

The housing includes dual Vans ODI side handles and comes standard with the SIREN XL Bayonet Port Front for quick lens swaps. Designed for surf and underwater cinematography, it’s configurable for both KOMODO-X and original KOMODO models.

The housing has full physical control of the camera, including:

We now also offer a control configuration to suit the original KOMODO camera with an interchangeable control panel.

Port System

The RED KOMODO-X housing is built around the SIREN XL bayonet port system, offering a stackable design for flexible lens configurations and streamlined port changes.

It can also be optioned with a Nikonos mount.
